California High School Basketball - St. Ignatius College Preparatory thwarts Archbishop Mitty
January 17, 2025: San Francisco, CA 94116 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats (San Francisco, CA) and the visiting Archbishop Mitty Monarchs (San Jose, CA), observed St. Ignatius College Preparatory's basketball team knock off Archbishop Mitty by a score of 57-45.
The Wildcats (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA). The Lancers come into the West Catholic challenge with a 5-9 record. In their last challenge, Saint Francis prevailed over Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, CA), 49-30, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Monarchs encounter the Archbishop Riordan Crusaders (San Francisco, CA) in a West Catholic challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Archbishop Mitty will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 13-1 record after their 75-37 league win over Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA).
