In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Arlington Lions basketball team scored a close 48-43 triumph over the Palm Springs Indians.

The Lions (10-11) will now prepare for their contest against Hillcrest (Riverside, CA). The Trojans go into the Ivy contest with a 17-6 record. In their last contest, Hillcrest was tipped by Poly (Riverside, CA), 62-32, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Rancho Mirage Rattlers (Rancho Mirage, CA) in a Desert Empire contest, on Wednesday, January 22. Palm Springs will attempt to better on its 14-6 season record.
