The Daniel Lions basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers to 55 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now possess a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Seneca for a AAAA Region 2 game on Tuesday, January 21. Daniel will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 63-55 league win over Travelers Rest (Travelers Rest, SC). The Bobcats record now stands at 12-6.

With the loss, Blue Ridge falls to 8-11 on the campaign. The Fighting tigers host Greer (Greer, SC) to confront the Yellow Jackets in a AAAA Region 2 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Yellow Jackets go into the game with a record of 11-6.
