Georgia High School Basketball - Cedar Grove overwhelms Riverdale
January 17, 2025: Ellenwood, GA 30294 The Cedar Grove Saints basketball team scored 74 points and limited the visiting Riverdale Raiders to 33 in the Saints league triumph on Friday.
The Saints now possess a 15-3 record. They play next when they host North Clayton for a AAA Region 5 game on Saturday, January 18. Cedar Grove will confront a Eagles team coming off a 50-49 non-league win over Drew (Riverdale, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 9-8.
With the loss, Riverdale falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Luella (Luella, GA) to confront the Lions in a AAA Region 5 game on Saturday, January 18. The Lions go into the game with a record of 9-5. Luella won 80-58 in their recent league game against Stephenson (Stone Mountain, GA)
