North Carolina High School Basketball - Trinity Christian knocks off Christ Covenant

In Friday's league contest, the host Trinity Christian Tigers basketball team scored a good 54-45 win over the Christ Covenant Spartans.

The Tigers (11-16) will now prepare for their contest against Eastern Christian HomeSchool (Washington, NC). The Trailblazers come into the non-league contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, Eastern Christian HomeSchool defeated Varsity Opponent (, ), 73-25, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Pitt County Pacers Pacers (Greenville, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Christ Covenant will attempt to better on its 9-9 season record. The Pacers come into the contest with a 1-11 record after their 46-39 non-league win over Coastal Brigade (Newport, NC).
