January 17, 2025: Detroit, MI 48235 Renaissance Phoenix (Detroit, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Ford Trojans (Detroit, MI), 104-38 in a league match.
With the victory, Renaissance upgrades its record to 8-6 on the year. The Phoenix host Western International (Detroit, MI) to face the Cowboys in a Detroit Public I match on Friday, January 24. The Cowboys enter the match with a record of 2-7. Western International lost 52-49 in their recent league match against Southeastern (Detroit, MI)
The Trojans now sport a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Unity Christian for a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. Ford will face a Crusaders squad coming off a 56-41 non-league win over Wyoming (Wyoming, MI). The Crusaders record now stands at 10-1.
