In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Hammond Baptist Swordsmen basketball team scored a big 71-25 win over the Maranatha Christian Academy Huskies.

The Swordsmen (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Arthur-Okaw Christian (Arthur, IL). The Conquering Riders come into the non-league contest with a 15-5 record. In their last contest, Arthur-Okaw Christian smashed Lake County Baptist (Waukegan, IL), 58-28, in a non-league contest.
