January 17, 2025: Elgin, IL 60124 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lisle Lions (Lisle, IL) and the host Westminster Christian Warriors (Elgin, IL), observed Lisle's basketball team knock off Westminster Christian by a score of 63-43.
The Lions (5-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Chicago Christian (Palos Heights, IL). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Chicago Christian prevailed over Chicago University (Chicago, IL), 57-48, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Alden-Hebron Green Giants (Hebron, IL) in a Northeastern challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Westminster Christian will attempt to improve on its 2-15 season record.
