In Friday's league test, the Oscar Smith Tigers (Chesapeake, VA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA), by a score of 87-45.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Varina Blue Devils (Richmond, VA) in a non-league test, on Monday, January 20. Oscar Smith will attempt to improve on its 11-1 season record. The Blue Devils come into the test with a 6-1 record after their 57-48 non-league win over Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA).

The Braves (10-1) will now prepare for their test against Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Grizzlies come into the Southeastern test with a 4-6 record.
