January 17, 2025: Jasper, AL 35504 Oxford Yellow Jackets (Oxford, AL) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Jasper Vikings (Jasper, AL), 66-57 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Oxford advances its record to 17-5 on the year. The Yellow Jackets travel to Huntsville (Huntsville, AL) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Monday, January 20. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 23-1. Huntsville won 60-40 in their recent league match against Sparkman (Harvest, AL)
The Vikings now own a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carbon Hill for a non-league match on Monday, January 20. Jasper will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 54-41 league win over Oakman (Oakman, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 19-4.
