Illinois High School Basketball - Johnsburg can't hold off Plano
January 17, 2025: Plano, IL 60545 Plano Reapers (Plano, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Johnsburg Skyhawks (Johnsburg, IL), 65-60 in a league match.
With the victory, Plano upgrades its record to 10-8 on the year. The Reapers host Harvard (Harvard, IL) to face the Hornets in a Kishwaukee River match on Wednesday, January 22. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 2-11. Harvard lost 51-38 in their recent league match against Marengo (Marengo, IL)
The Skyhawks now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rockford Christian for a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. Johnsburg will face a Royal Lions squad coming off a 90-51 non-league win over St. Bede (Peru, IL). The Royal Lions record now stands at 15-0.
