Iowa High School Basketball - Kennedy routs Wahlert
January 17, 2025: Cedar Rapids, IA 52402 In Friday's league contest, the host Kennedy Cougars basketball team scored a big 77-43 triumph over the Wahlert Golden Eagles.
The Cougars (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hempstead (Dubuque, IA). The Mustangs go into the Mississippi Valley contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Hempstead was trounced by Xavier (Cedar Rapids, IA), 70-41, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Golden Eagles battle the Xavier Saints (Cedar Rapids, IA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Wahlert will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Saints go into the contest with a 9-4 record after their 70-41 non-league win over Hempstead (Dubuque, IA).
