The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lake Brantley Patriots (Altamonte Springs, FL) and the host Lyman Greyhounds (Longwood, FL), observed Lake Brantley's basketball team knock off Lyman by a score of 52-41.

The Patriots (14-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Howell (Winter Park, FL). The Silverhawks come into the non-league challenge with a 15-4 record. In their last challenge, Lake Howell dropped by Oviedo (Oviedo, FL), 66-44, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Greyhounds encounter the Legacy Charter Eagles (Ocoee, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Lyman will attempt to improve on its 5-13 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 75-44 non-league win over Cornerstone Charter Academy (Belle Isle, FL).
