The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Richland County Tigers (Olney, IL) and the visiting Mt. Carmel Golden Aces (Mt. Carmel, IL), observed Richland County's basketball team overwhelm Mt. Carmel by a margin of 53-32.

The Tigers (10-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Fairfield (Fairfield, IL). The Mules come into the non-league challenge with a 7-7 record. In their last challenge, Fairfield was trounced by Massac County (Metropolis, IL), 42-40, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Golden Aces battle the Eldorado Eagles (Eldorado, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Mt. Carmel will attempt to better on its 3-13 season record.
