New York High School Basketball - Mt. Markham routs Sauquoit Valley
January 17, 2025: Sauquoit, NY 13456 In Friday's league contest, the visiting Mt. Markham Mustangs basketball team scored a big 71-43 triumph over the Sauquoit Valley Indians.
The Mustangs (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Holland Patent (Holland Patent, NY). The Golden Knights go into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Holland Patent was trounced by New Hartford (New Hartford, NY), 73-68, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Indians confront the New York Mills Marauders (New York Mills, NY) in a Section 3 Center State III contest, on Thursday, January 23. Sauquoit Valley will attempt to better on its 0-13 season record. The Marauders go into the contest with a 3-6 record after their 46-40 league win over Westmoreland (Westmoreland, NY).
