The Trion Bulldogs (Trion, GA) basketball edged the visiting Mt. Zion Eagles (Mt. Zion, GA), 62-59 in Friday's league bout.

The Bulldogs now possess a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Model for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. Trion will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 74-71 league loss to Temple (Temple, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 10-4.
