January 17, 2025: Jacksonville, AL 36265 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Pleasant Valley Raiders (Jacksonville, AL) and the visiting Vincent Yellow Jackets (Vincent, AL), observed Pleasant Valley's basketball team knock off Vincent by a score of 37-26.
The Raiders (6-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Saks (Anniston, AL). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 4-10 record. In their last challenge, Saks prevailed over Randolph County (Wedowee, AL), 59-47, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Yellow Jackets encounter the Westminster School at Oak Mountain Knights (Birmingham, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Vincent will attempt to improve on its 8-12 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 6-12 record after their 70-56 league win over Alabama Aerospace and Aviation (Bessemer, AL).
