Ohio High School Basketball - Sidney thwarts Stebbins
January 17, 2025: Sidney, OH 45365 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Sidney Yellowjackets (Sidney, OH) and the visiting Stebbins Indians (Riverside, OH), observed Sidney's basketball team knock off Stebbins by a score of 60-41.
The Yellowjackets (11-2) will now prepare for their challenge against West Carrollton (West Carrollton, OH). The Pirates come into the Miami Valley - Valley challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, West Carrollton prevailed over Piqua (Piqua, OH), 55-39, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Indians encounter the Carroll Patriots (Dayton, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Stebbins will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 45-41 league loss to Archbishop McNicholas (Cincinnati, OH).
