Springer Cardinals (Springer, OK) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Wilson Eagles (Wilson, OK), 58-56 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Springer upgrades its record to 10-8 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Maysville (Maysville, OK) to face the Warriors in a Big 8 match on Friday, January 24. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 1-12.

The Eagles now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McLain Science & Tech for a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. Wilson will face a Titans squad coming off a 44-37 non-league loss to Lincoln Christian (Tulsa, OK). The Titans record now stands at 5-5.
