In Friday's league contest, the host Utah Military Academy - Hill Field Thunderbirds basketball team scored a big 66-31 triumph over the Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams Marauders.

The Thunderbirds (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Freedom Prep Academy (Provo, UT). The Eagles go into the 2A Region 16 contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Freedom Prep Academy was trounced by Merit Preparatory Academy (Springville, UT), 74-29, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Marauders battle the Telos (Orem, UT) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams will attempt to better on its 1-16 season record.
