California High School Basketball - Saint Francis thwarts Archbishop Riordan
January 17, 2025: San Francisco, CA 94112 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Saint Francis Lancers (Mountain View, CA) and the host Archbishop Riordan Crusaders (San Francisco, CA), observed Saint Francis's basketball team knock off Archbishop Riordan by a score of 54-43.
The Lancers (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Menlo School (Atherton, CA). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 4-12 record.
In their next game, the Crusaders battle the Archbishop Mitty Monarchs (San Jose, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Archbishop Riordan will attempt to improve on its 9-14 season record. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 55-49 non-league loss to Jesuit (Carmichael, CA).
