Iowa High School Basketball - Hudson knocks off AGWSR
January 17, 2025: Ackley, IA 50601 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hudson Pirates (Hudson, IA) and the host AGWSR Cougars (Ackley, IA), observed Hudson's basketball team overcome AGWSR by a score of 52-41.
The Pirates (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA). The Falcons come into the North Iowa Cedar - East challenge with a 10-3 record. In their last challenge, Aplington-Parkersburg defeated Columbus (Waterloo, IA), 76-39, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels (Reinbeck, IA) in a North Iowa Cedar - West challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. AGWSR will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 41-37 league win over Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA).
