In Friday's league test, the University Christian Barracudas (Hickory, NC) basketball squad knocked off the host Hickory Christian Academy Knights (Hickory, NC), by a score of 59-50.

Next, the Barracudas clash with the Statesville Christian Lions (Statesville, NC) in a NCISAA Foothills test, on Tuesday, January 21. University Christian will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 9-3 record after their 28-2 league win over Salem Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC).

The Knights (1-10) will now prepare for their test against Salem Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC). The Vikings come into the NCISAA Freelance test with a 0-9 record.
