The North Lamar Panthers (Paris, TX) basketball crushed the host Pleasant Grove Hawks (Texarkana, TX), 42-18 in Friday's league bout.

The Panthers now possess a 18-9 record. They play next when they host Pittsburg for a 4A Region II District 14 bout on Tuesday, January 21. North Lamar will play a Pirates team coming off a 44-18 non-league win over Paris (Paris, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 20-4.
