The Tomah Timberwolves basketball team scored 35 points and limited the host Sparta Spartans to 29 in the Timberwolves league triumph on Friday.

The Timberwolves now possess a 1-10 record. They play next when they travel to Luther for a non-league game on Monday, January 20. Tomah will confront a Knights team coming off a 61-39 league win over Westby (Westby, WI). The Knights record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, Sparta falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Spartans host Aquinas (La Crosse, WI) to confront the Blugolds in a Mississippi Valley game on Tuesday, January 21. The Blugolds go into the game with a record of 11-3. Aquinas won 63-40 in their recent non-league game against West Salem (West Salem, WI)
