The Stockbridge Tigers (Stockbridge, GA) basketball were winner over the host Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA), 56-48 in Friday's league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 15-2 record. They play next when they travel to Wheeler for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. Stockbridge will play a Wildcats team coming off a 42-37 league loss to Etowah (Woodstock, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-10.

With the loss, Union Grove falls to 12-6 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Eagle's Landing (McDonough, GA) to play the Eagles in a AAAA Region 2 bout on Tuesday, January 21.
