In Friday's non-league contest, the host Anchor Bay Tars ice hockey team scored a close 7-3 victory over the Port Huron Red Hawks.

The Tars (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Utica (Utica, MI). The Chieftains go into the Macomb Area - Red contest with a 8-7 record.
