High School Ice Hockey - Varsity Opponent knocks off Findlay
January 17, 2025: , The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Varsity Opponent (, ) and the visiting Findlay Trojans (Findlay, OH), witnessed Varsity Opponent's ice hockey team defeat Findlay by a final score of 5-1.
The (56-82) will now prepare for their challenge against Mentor (Mentor, OH). The Cardinals come into the non-league challenge with a 14-8 record. In their last challenge, Mentor got by Benedictine (Cleveland, OH), 11-1, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Olentangy Braves (Lewis Center, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Findlay will attempt to upgrade on its 8-15 season record.
