Texas High School Soccer - Sterling nudges West Fork
January 17, 2025: Kingwood, TX 77339 The Sterling Rangers soccer squad scored 1 points and held the host West Fork Gators to 0 in the Rangers non-league victory on Friday.
The Rangers now hold a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Port Arthur Memorial for a 5A Region 3 District 19 bout on Tuesday, January 21. Sterling will play a Titans squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Texas City (Texas City, TX). The Titans record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, West Fork moves to 0-9 on the year. The Gators travel to Dayton (Dayton, TX) to play the Broncos in a 5A Region 3 District 18 bout on Friday, January 24. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Dayton won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Lumberton (Lumberton, TX)
