Maryland High School Basketball - Archbishop Curley overwhelms Friends
January 18, 2022: Baltimore, MD 21210 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Archbishop Curley Friars (Baltimore, MD) and the host Friends Quakers (Baltimore, MD), saw Archbishop Curley's basketball squad wallop Friends by a tally of 58-34.
With the victory, Archbishop Curley improves its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Friars travel to Chapelgate Christian Academy (Marriottsville, MD) to confront the Yellowjackets in a MIAA B challenge on Wednesday, January 26. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 12-5.
Next up, the Quakers confront the Gerstell Academy (Finksburg, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 21. Friends will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 54-53 league loss to Chapelgate Christian Academy (Marriottsville, MD).
