Ohio High School Basketball - Central Crossing fells Columbus Academy
January 18, 2022: Grove City, OH 43123 Central Crossing Comets (Grove City, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Columbus Academy Vikings (Gahanna, OH), 45-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Central Crossing upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Comets host Lancaster (Lancaster, OH) to play the Golden Gales in a Ohio Capital - Buckeye bout on Friday, January 21. The Golden Gales go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Lancaster lost 51-29 in their recent league bout against Newark (Newark, OH)
Next up, the Vikings play the Bexley Lions (Columbus, OH) in a Mid-State - Ohio bout, on Friday, January 21. Columbus Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 48-37 league win over Worthington Christian (Worthington, OH).
