Georgia High School Basketball - Dodge County nips Wilcox County
January 18, 2022: Eastman, GA 31023 Dodge County Indians (Eastman, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Wilcox County Patriots (Rochelle, GA), 55-50 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Dodge County upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Indians host Bleckley County (Cochran, GA) to play the Royals in a AA Region 3 bout on Friday, January 21. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Bleckley County lost 59-40 in their recent league bout against Washington County (Sandersville, GA)
Next up, the Patriots play the Johnson County Trojans (Wrightsville, GA) in a A Public Region 4 bout, on Saturday, January 22. Wilcox County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 71-70 league loss to Treutlen (Soperton, GA).
