January 18, 2022: New Salem, ND 58563 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Flasher Bulldogs (Flasher, ND) and the host New Salem Holsteins (New Salem, ND), saw Flasher's basketball squad overcome New Salem by a tally of 70-56.
With the victory, Flasher improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Standing Rock (Fort Yates, ND) to confront the Warriors in a B Region 5 District 9 challenge on Friday, January 21. The Warriors go into the outing with a record of 6-1. Standing Rock won 75-70 in their recent non-league outing against Mobridge-Pollock (Mobridge, SD)
The Holsteins now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they host New England for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 22. New Salem will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 75-36 league loss to Beulah (Beulah, ND). The Tigers record now stands at 3-6.
