Texas High School Basketball - Greenwood overwhelms Pecos
January 18, 2022: Midland, TX 79706 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Greenwood Rangers (Midland, TX) and the visiting Pecos Eagles (Pecos, TX), saw Greenwood's basketball squad wallop Pecos by a tally of 85-29.
With the victory, Greenwood improves its record to 15-8 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Seminole (Seminole, TX) to play the Indians in a 4A Region I District 2 challenge on Friday, January 21. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 6-16. Seminole won 58-53 in their recent league challenge against Monahans (Monahans, TX)
Next up, the Eagles play the Fort Stockton Panthers (Fort Stockton, TX) in a 4A Region I District 2 challenge, on Friday, January 21. Pecos will attempt to improve on its 4-16 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 5-17 record after their 64-31 league loss to Andrews (Andrews, TX).
