Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Tyrone nips Hollidaysburg

January 18, 2022: Tyrone, PA 16686

Tyrone Golden Eagles (Tyrone, PA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers (Hollidaysburg, PA), 71-65 in a league bout.

With the win, Tyrone upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Windber (Windber, PA) to play the Ramblers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 19. The Ramblers go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Windber lost 65-51 in their recent league bout against Conemaugh Township (Davidsville, PA)

Next up, the Golden Tigers play the Clearfield Bison (Clearfield, PA) in a Mountain bout, on Friday, January 21. Hollidaysburg will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record.
