The Sanford Warriors basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting Howard Wildcats to 29 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilmington Christian for a Independent Schools contest on Friday, January 21. Sanford will meet a Warriors team coming off a 45-39 non-league win over MOT Charter (Middletown, DE). The Warriors record now stands at 2-3.

The Wildcats (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Christiana (Newark, DE). The Vikings enter the Blue Hen Flight - B contest with a 1-3 record.
