The Mt. Vernon Marauders (Fortville, IN) basketball knocked off the host Lawrence Central Bears (Indianapolis, IN), 78-61 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Marauders (10-2) will now prepare for their test against Hamilton Heights (Arcadia, IN). The Huskies go into the non-league test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Hamilton Heights notched a victory over Western Boone (Thorntown, IN), 59-50, in a non-league test.

The Bears now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Warren Central for a Metropolitan test on Friday, January 21.
