Medford Mustangs (Medford, MA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Malden Golden Tornados (Malden, MA), 77-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Medford upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Everett (Everett, MA) to clash with the Crimson Tide in a Greater Boston bout on Thursday, January 20. The Crimson Tide go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Everett won 59-47 in their recent league bout against Revere (Revere, MA)

Next up, the Golden Tornados clash with the Lynn English Bulldogs (Lynn, MA) in a Greater Boston bout, on Thursday, January 20. Malden will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 67-66 league win over Chelsea (Chelsea, MA).
