Tennessee High School Basketball - Montgomery Central can't hold off Sycamore

The Sycamore War Eagles basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Montgomery Central Indians to 60 in the War Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The War Eagles now sport a 3-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fairview for a 2A District 9 contest on Friday, January 21. Sycamore will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 58-40 league win over White House-Heritage (White House, TN). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 12-4.

The Indians (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against Greenbrier (Greenbrier, TN). The Bobcats enter the 3A District 9 contest with a 16-1 record. In their last contest, Greenbrier nudged Westmoreland (Westmoreland, TN), 69-44, in a non-league contest.
