Illinois High School Basketball - Nokomis holds off Triad
January 18, 2022: Nokomis, IL 62075 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Nokomis Redskins (Nokomis, IL) and the visiting Triad Knights (Troy, IL), saw Nokomis's basketball squad hold off Triad by a tally of 48-47.
With the victory, Nokomis improves its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Redskins host South County (Franklin, IL) to confront the Vipers in a MSM challenge on Tuesday, January 25. The Vipers come into the challenge with a record of 5-12.
Next up, the Knights confront the Litchfield Purple Panthers (Litchfield, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 20. Triad will attempt to improve on its 9-13 season record. The Purple Panthers come into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 65-55 non-league loss to Taylorville (Taylorville, IL).
