January 18, 2022: Sabetha, KS 66534 The Sabetha Bluejays basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Rock Creek Mustangs to 44 in the Bluejays non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bluejays now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Labette County for a non-league contest on Friday, January 21. Sabetha will meet a Grizzlies team coming off a 43-40 non-league win over Silver Lake (Silver Lake, KS). The Grizzlies record now stands at 4-6.
The Mustangs (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Silver Lake (Silver Lake, KS). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Silver Lake was defeated by Labette County (Altamont, KS), 43-40, in a non-league contest.
