The McLeod Longhorns basketball team scored 33 points and held the visiting Bowie Pirates to 24 in the Longhorns league triumph on Tuesday.

The Longhorns now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rivercrest for a 2A Region II District 16 bout on Thursday, January 20. McLeod will play a Rebels squad coming off a 45-27 league win over Maud (Maud, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 9-14.
