The Britton-Hecla Braves basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Tiospa Zina Wambdi to 42 in the Braves non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Braves now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Redfield for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 20. Britton-Hecla will battle a Pheasants team coming off a 55-23 non-league loss to Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD). The Pheasants record now stands at 3-6.

The Wambdi (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against Warner (Warner, SD). The Monarchs enter the non-league contest with a 5-4 record.
