Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Canton Tigers (Canton, MS), 92-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, Neshoba Central upgrades its record to 21-0 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Ridgeland (Ridgeland, MS) to play the Titans in a 5A Region 3 bout on Friday, January 21. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 12-9. Ridgeland won 32-26 in their recent non-league bout against Cleveland Central (Cleveland, MS)

Next up, the Tigers play the Holmes County Central Jaguars (Lexington, MS) in a 5A Region 3 bout, on Friday, January 21. Canton will attempt to upgrade on its 14-7 season record. The Jaguars come into the bout with a 8-12 record after their 54-36 league loss to Ridgeland (Ridgeland, MS).
