The Central Montcalm Hornets basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting Tri County Area Vikings to 40 in the Hornets league victory on Tuesday.

The Hornets now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grant for a Central State contest on Friday, January 21. Central Montcalm will battle a Tigers team coming off a 49-43 league win over Big Rapids (Big Rapids, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 5-4.
