In Tuesday's league outing, the Essex Trojans (Tappahannock, VA) basketball squad edged the host Lancaster Red Devils (Lancaster, VA), by a count of 43-36.

The Trojans (2-6) will now prepare for their outing against King & Queen Central (King & Queen Court House, VA). The Royal Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, King & Queen Central was tipped by West Point (West Point, VA), 33-24, in a league outing.
