January 18, 2022: Monroe, LA 71203 The Sicily Island Tigers basketball team (Sicily Island, LA), was overwhelmed 68-13 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Ouachita Christian Eagles (Monroe, LA)
The Eagles now possess a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Delta Charter for a 1A District 2 battle on Friday, January 21. Ouachita Christian will confront a Storm team coming off a 63-31 league loss to Cedar Creek (Ruston, LA). The Storm record now stands at 10-9.
The Tigers (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against St. Frederick (Monroe, LA). The Warriors come into the 1A District 2 battle with a 2-7 record.
