January 18, 2022: Scotch Plains, NJ 07076 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the West Morris Mendham Minutemen (Mendham, NJ) and the host Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders (Scotch Plains, NJ), saw West Morris Mendham's basketball squad hold off Scotch Plains-Fanwood by a tally of 42-37.
With the victory, West Morris Mendham improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Minutemen host Morris Knolls (Rockaway, NJ) to confront the Golden Eagles in a Northwest Jersey - National challenge on Friday, January 21. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Morris Knolls won 43-35 in their recent league challenge against Roxbury (Succasunna, NJ)
Next up, the Raiders confront the Hillside Comets (Hillside, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 20. Scotch Plains-Fanwood will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 64-22 non-league loss to Johnson (Clark, NJ).
