January 18, 2022: Belton, TX 76513 Salado Eagles (Salado, TX) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Belton Tigers (Belton, TX), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles confront the Little River Academy Bumblebees (Little River Academy, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 27. Salado will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Bumblebees enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Burnet (Burnet, TX).
The Tigers now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Temple for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 25. Belton will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to McNeil (Austin, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
