California High School Basketball - Collins Family tops Animo Pat Brown
January 18, 2023: Los Angeles, CA 90001 Collins Family Jaguars (Huntington Park, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Animo Pat Brown Gryphons (Los Angeles, CA), 53-33 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Collins Family upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Academia Avance (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Guerreros Jaguares in a Eastside bout on Thursday, January 19. The Guerreros Jaguares come into the bout with a record of 2-10. Academia Avance lost 39-37 in their recent league bout against Alliance Bloomfield (Huntington Park, CA)
Next up, the Gryphons play the Alliance Ted K. Tajima Wolverines (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Animo Pat Brown will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Wolverines come into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 63-33 non-league loss to Math & Science College Preparatory (Los Angeles, CA).
